Reddragon: Sorry about the inconvience e1. I should have the other types asap along with discriptions. I will do my best to only place the primary species of dragons. There are actually around 54 total but I will only mention the main ones that are well known. Which is around 30 to 34. I will include asian types but they will only be mentioned once and will have thier own page. I do not have any pics of them though. If anyone wants the other types placed, I will create a seporate page for them. As for now The pics and info of the main elements will have to do. ......*rubs eyes* Tempest ur a celestial.
Tempest: Red....What type am I?
Fire

The Fire Dragon gets its name from the hues from its scales, which are varying shades of red. Adult males often have a black striping of scales that start at the crest of their head and continue down their back. Fire Dragons can most commonly be found in volcano's near the lava. They are very aggressive, territorial, and dangerous, making them creatures often best left alone.

Water or Sea Dragon

If it can be said a dragon may have a facial expression, then a Sea Dragon's is very similar to a perpetual sneer. Their head is somewhat oblong with a blunted snout. It has two pair of incisor teeth protruding on either side of its maw and another pair protruding a little further back. It appears they use these only to snare and hold its prey until it can be secured with their front feet. Sea Dragons have two rows of forty, thin diamond shaped teeth along both sides of their mouth. These are razor sharp and can rend things to ribbons in a matter of seconds. Ridges at the end of their snout, can close when submerged, protect the nostrils. They also have a soft opaque membrane that slides over their eyes when submerged allowing them to see through them. Their ears are pointed and are ridged to the back of their skull. These lay flat when swimming in the water. They have a scalloped ridge that starts in the middle of their forehead and travels down the center of their back to taper off at the beginning of their long tail, but it doesn't get higher than 40cm. It is believed this ridge helps them slice through the water when diving.

Earth

Possibly Rock possibly molten lava, but this dragon really knows how to cause eathquakes and mudslides. The Earth Dragon gets it's name for the plants and rocks that are naturally part of it's scales. If it falls asleep it can not be seen, thus only it's breath can be heard. It has a short snout, probably a third of that of a Fire Dragon. If threatened it will spew out a highly strong acid that can melt armor and the ground itself. They can fly but they only hover around 100ft abouve the ground because of thier extreme weight. The location of the Earth Dragons are anywhere there is a forest or possible land that humans do not inhabit. Other References about it are unknown and yet to be studied.
Air

Known to be in the sky at long piriods of time. It rarely come down to feet because of the numerous birds it is able to track down in the sky and kill. Thier snouts are half that of a Fire Dragon but thier scales are much different. The scales are much smaller and can repeall air easily. However thier wings biuld up a static charge when they go through the clouds. The static charge can be easily released at any time with one flap of a wing. They are known o follow rainstorms and they only nest in high mountains. At the tip of the tail there are several blade like scales. they are very hard and are stroger then steal. The male is the only one that stays in the air and brings the food to the nest while the female takes care and protects of the young. Thieer cortship ocures in the storm clouds and it can be hardly seen. They do a dance in and out of the clouds and it is said that they pull something similar to the water dragon but they seporate much faster and before reaching the cloud itself.
